GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR HRN EVENTS AND TRADE SHOW TICKET PURCHASE AND PARTICIPATION

In the following document HRN describe the terms and conditions between HRN and you when you purchase a ticket or register for any HRN event or trade show, or take part in any HRN and/or affiliate conducted survey. By purchasing a ticket or registering for an HRN event or trade show or taking part in an HRN and/or affiliate conducted survey you give your consent to agree to and be bound by these terms and conditions. Please take your time to thoroughly read this document.


HRN retains the right to modify and change at any time these terms and conditions. Any modified terms and conditions document will be updated on this website. This latest updated version of terms and conditions is applicable from July 1, 2016.

EVENT OR TRADESHOW ORGANIZER

HR Tech World is organized by HRN Europe Limited. HRN Europe Limited is active in the business of creating business reports, awards, communities and tradeshows under various brand names including but not limited to: HR Tech World, iRecruit, disruptHR.

Declaration of Consent

Having read the terms and conditions document I hereby give my consent to HRN and its subsidaries to collect, process, store and use my personal data for the purposes of administration regarding the purchase of my ticket and for any other kind of use to which I have given my consent. The information provided by you will be used for administrating and processing ticket sales and adding your data to delegate lists and our email database, including all delegates from past and current events and trade shows. If you do not wish your name, photograph, country where based and company name to be disclosed on the delegate list please email info@hrn.io

1. PURCHASING TICKETS

I hereby give my consent for the use and retention of the mandatory and voluntary data provided by me regarding my purchase and or registration for tickets to any HRN events or trade shows. I also give consent for all the data and details from my user account to be stored. I declare that I may instruct HRN within a reasonable timeframe to remove my details at any time indicating that I no longer give consent them to be stored. I agree to the commercial use of my data as it is defined in this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent and that this data will be retained and stored for this purpose. In case you wish your data to be removed you must notify HRN in writing. Requests for the removal of personal data are processed within 30 days after the confirmation of the arrival of the written request. 2. ONLINE SURVEYS

I give my agreement and consent to HRN to store, process and analyze any voluntary information I provide during my participation in any online survey conducted by HRN or its affiliates. I am aware and accept that my data may be used for commercial purposes in accordance with this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent and will be retained and stored for this purpose.

3. TICKET REGISTRATION

I agree and give my consent to HRN to use for the purposes of processing any form of ticket registration any mandatory and voluntary data I provide during registration for an admission ticket. I consent to HRN using any voluntary data provided by me during any registration or interaction. I am aware and accept that my data shall be used for commercial purposes in accordance with this Data Protection Policy and Declaration of Consent and shall be retained and stored for this purpose.

CANCELLATION POLICY & REPLACEMENTS FOR TICKETS

Our policy objective is to ensure a healthy ratio of Enterprise to Vendor delegates at all our events. This ensures that representatives of Enterprise organizations are not overwhelmed by Vendor organizations, it assists in the protection of the investment made by the Sponsors, Exhibitors and Partners of HRN. To achieve this we enforce a strict policy of approvals with quota limits.

VIP Tickets. VIP tickets are issued to Sponsors and Network Members to invite enterprise companies (clients and/or prospective clients) and enterprise buyers only. VIP Tickets are non transferable: they cannot be sold, shared or otherwise offered to vendor companies, integrators, partners, consultants, media, public relations or bloggers etc.

Cancellation Policy & Replacements for VIP Tickets:

PLEASE NOTE: VIP /Shortlisted Network Member Ticket Holders, if for any reason you need to cancel your booking, you may send a replacement from your Group/Senior Leadership team at no additional cost. In case of full cancellation or no replacement, a service charge and catering fee applies of Euros €200 (Two Hundred Euros) per delegate.

Cancellation Policy & Replacements for Standard Tickets:

PLEASE NOTE: Credit Vouchers are made available to the value of the ticket amount invested, valid for a period of 12 months only, if written cancellation is received one week before the event start date; NB. No refunds or partial refunds are provided for cancellation, and no Credit Vouchers will be provided after this date. Authorized/invoiced registrations are deemed 100% payable on receipt. If you are unable to attend the event, you may elect to send a senior leadership representative in your place; please note that any more than one name change made within two (2) working days of the event start date will be subject to a service charge equivalent to 12% of the invoiced ticket amount.

Ordinary Delegate Tickets

Most delegates will register as delegates and pay a fee or a discounted fee using a promotional code. It should be noted that we reserve the right to refuse ticket(s) to representatives of HR vendor organizations, solution providers and consultants of any kind who register themselves in this way. As an exclusive and closed community delegates are carefully screened as enterprise buyers of HR Software and Services.

4. GENERAL

HRN reserves the right to:
a) change, update, modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, fully or partially the entire HRN IT infrastructure with or without notice.

b) change, update or modify fully or partially these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the entire HRN IT infrastructure or any part thereof following such change shall be subject to, and including the changes made, to the terms from time to time.

c) Monitor any user activity and third party content associated with the entire HRN IT infrastructure.

d) to investigate any reported violation of these Terms to confirm that HRN shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the entire HRN IT infrastructure; and/or deemed to be your acceptance of such change.


Should you wish to be updated about the valid Terms and Conditions it is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Terms and Conditions for the entire HRN IT infrastructure have been changed. Should you not agree to any change, modification or update to the valid Terms and Conditions to the entire HRN IT infrastructure then you must immediately stop using the Website. Furthermore should you not agree to any change, modification or update to the valid Terms and Conditions to the entire HRN IT infrastructure we will suspend any complaints made by you relating to the Website and take any action that we deem appropriate which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Despite our best efforts to publish accurate information and other elements of content on the entire HRN IT infrastructure we do not guarantee whether expressly or implied its accuracy. Every HRN website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for your information and personal use only without any representation or endorsement. Unless specified in separate terms and conditions relating to a particular product or service, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, in relation to the Website, or products or services offered on the Website whether by us or on our behalf (including free software downloads) including but not limited to, implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security, accuracy, condition or completeness, or any implied warranty arising in the course of dealing or usage or trade. You acknowledge that we cannot guarantee and therefore shall not be in any way responsible for the security or privacy of the Website and any information provided to or taken from the Website by you.

6. INDEMNITY

You agree to be fully responsible for (and fully indemnify us against) all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, suffered by us and arising out of any breach of the terms by you or any other liabilities incurred by us arising out of your use of the website, or use by any other person accessing the website using your data, your internet enabled device, or your internet access account.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is provided to make you aware of how we collect and use your information.
This Policy also contains all necessary consents for us to provide you the use of HRN Applications, online web Sites and any related Services. This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected by HRN and/or its related entities, affiliates and subsidiaries.
For the purpose of this Policy, “we” and “our” shall refer to HRN.


Use of Policy

By using any HRN Application, Site or Services, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy. This Privacy Policy does not cover your use of the Credit Card Services in connection with your Credit Card Account. Your use of your Credit Card Account and the Credit Card Services is covered by the User Agreement and the Credit Card Privacy Policy that you agreed to when you opened your Credit Card Account, as may be amended from time to time. This Policy covers our collection, use and disclosure of your information through the HRN Application, Site or Services. It does not cover any collection, use or disclosure by third parties through any applications, Web sites, products or services that we do not control or own, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Plus, MySpace, or any third party features or services made available via HRN Application, Site or Services, such as the Credit Card Services. All trademarks, trade names, and logos of third parties featured on the Applications or the Site belong to their respective owners.

When Is Information Collected From You?

Your information is collected predominantly when you register for or use any of our HRN Applications, Services and/or the Sites , but may also be collected from information available in the public domain or from third parties. We also collect information from you when you take part in any contest, survey or promotion conducted by HRN and/or our business partners. We also collect information from you when you register as a member of websites owned and/or operated by HRN, or hosted by HRN on behalf of our business partners or use services on such websites.

What Kind of Information We Collect?

We collect the following types of information below through your use of the HRN Applications, Services and/or the Sites

Personal Information

“Personal Information” is information that identifies you or another person, which may be transmitted or received when you use an Application, the HRN Services and/or the Site. Personal Information includes your geographic location information, names, physical addresses, email addresses, telephone, fax and other device numbers, calendar entries stored within your Device, contact entries stored within your Device, files, content, photographs, location information and other metadata in photographs and other information you transmit or receive using an App, the HRN Services, Credit Card Services and/or the Sites which identifies you or another person. Personal Information also includes information about you or others that may be accessed by our system directly from your Device, including from your address book, location, photos or contacts folder, in order to enable certain features of an HRN Applications or Services, such as the feature that finds and suggests other individuals who you may know. Unless you have elected to opt-out of providing your geographic location information, the HRN Applications may use and store information related to the geographic location of your device and combine this information with other Personal Information to provide certain services, whether or not the Application is active. We collect Personal Information if you provide it directly to us via email or through the HRN Applications, Services or the Sites. We may also collect Personal Information when you send us messages, comments, questions or suggestions or if you participate in blogs, forums, message boards, chat rooms, profile pages and other services to which you are able to post information, if any, on the Site (collectively, “Forums”). We may also collect Personal Information through certain features of one or more Applications or the HRN Services (and in some instances will allow you to opt-out of such collection or retention of certain Personal Information). In some instances, certain Applications do not have to be in active use in order for your Personal Information to be collected through them.

Non-Personal Information

“Non-Personal Information” is information that does not identify you or any other individual, and includes Session and Usage Data, Log Data and Aggregate Information, each as described below. Session and Usage Data

We may use your Personal Information:

How We Use Your Non-Personal Information?

We may use Non-Personal Information for any purpose, including for our own internal purposes; to measure traffic patterns; to understand demographics, customer interest, and other trends among our Users; to provide, improve and modify the Applications, HRN Services and the Site; and for promotion and marketing purposes. In some instances, we may combine Non-Personal Information with Personal Information (such as combining your name with your unique User Device number). If we combine any Non-Personal Information with Personal Information, the combined information will be treated by us as Personal Information as long as it is combined. We may display targeted advertisements based on Personal Information. We do not provide any Personal Information to the advertiser when you interact with or view a targeted ad. However, by interacting with or viewing an ad you are consenting to the possibility that the advertiser will assume that you meet the targeting criteria used to display the ad.

How Your Personal Information May Be Disclosed?

We may disclose your Personal Information:

PRIVACY POLICY ON USAGE OF EVENT DELEGATE LIST

Delegate details (Name, Job title, Company, Country) will be made available to Sponsors for purposes of scheduling meetings and follow-ups before, during and after the event. Two weeks prior to the event, Diamond to Platinum level sponsors receive delegate details without contact information, followed by Gold to Startup one week prior to the event, to be facilitated via our Mobile App. After each event, Diamond to Platinum level sponsors receive full delegate details with contact information (email and work phone). Gold level sponsors receive the same except without the delegate’s contact information.Our partners may contact delegates based on business interests and desire for future collaboration. Should delegates wish to be removed from HRN’s sponsors’ contact lists, they are to send a written request to info@hrn.io.


During the event, Sponsors can acquire delegate details via Lead Scanning where delegates agree to have their name tag scanned. Should the delegate agree to have their name tag scanned, HRN can not assume responsibility for how the delegate’s information is used by the sponsor.

Third-Party Sites

In general, the Applications, the HRN Services and the Site access third party information (such as your Credit Card or social media account information) through application interfaces. We may provide links to third-party Web sites, such as LinkedIn, as a service to our Users. We will provide your Credit Card information to eWay in connection with your use of the Credit Card Services. The Site may also carry advertisements from other companies. When you click on links of third parties in an Application, the HRN Services or the Site, you may leave the Application, the HRN Services or the Site. Some of these third party sites may be co-branded with our name/logo or our affiliated entity’s name/logo, even though they are not operated or maintained by us. This Policy does not address, and we are not responsible for, the privacy practices of Web sites operated by third parties, whether they are linked to or otherwise accessible from an Application, the HRN Services or the Site. The inclusion of a link or accessibility of third party Web sites does not imply endorsement of such third party Web site by us. eWay’s use of your Credit Card information is governed by eWay’s privacy user agreement and privacy policy.

Users With Whom You Share Your Information

We cannot control the actions of other Users with whom you share your information. We cannot, and do not, control the information you share with other Users using an Application, the HRN Services or the Site (including via Forums) or how such other Users will use or share such information. We are not responsible for third party circumvention of our security measures.

Opting Out of Marketing-Related Communications

You may opt out from receiving marketing-related emails, texts, phone messages or other communications from us on a going-forward basis by amending your Account Registration details. We will try to comply with your opt-out request as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt out as described above, this will apply to marketing messages from us only. We will not be able to remove your Personal Information from the database of any other Users you have shared such information or from third parties to whom you have previously authorised us to share such information (i.e., to which we have already provided your Personal Information as of the date that we implement your opt-out request). Please also note that if you do opt-out of receiving marketing-related messages from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, and you cannot opt-out from receiving administrative messages.

Accessing, Changing or Suppressing Your Personal Information

If you would like to review, correct, update, suppress, delete or otherwise limit our use of your Personal Information that has been previously provided to us, you may contact us support@HRN.com. In your request, please make clear what information you would like to have changed, whether you would like to have your Personal Information suppressed from our database or otherwise let us know what limitations you would like to put on our use of your Personal Information. We will try to comply with your request as soon as and to the extent reasonably practicable. Again, we cannot remove your Personal Information from the database of any other Users you have shared such information or from third parties to whom you have previously authorised us to share such information. Your device may also have settings to limit the Personal Information, including location information, provided to the Application. Review your device manual or contact the manufacturer for further information regarding these features.

Security

HRN is very concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your Personal Information. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the storage and use of your personal information is undertaken in a secure way that protects your privacy. Information is stored in various ways, including hardcopy and electronic records. We take reasonable steps to implement controls around technology and organisational processes to prevent unauthorised access and use and disclosure. Please be aware that no security measures that we take to protect your information is absolutely guaranteed to avoid unauthorised access, use or disclosure of your Personal Information or is impenetrable.

International Users

Your Personal Information may be stored and processed in any country where we have facilities, and by using an Application, the HRN Services or the Site you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to countries, which may be outside of your country of residence and may provide for different and less stringent data protection rules than in your country. If you object to your Personal Information being transferred or used as described in this Policy, please do not use any Application, the HRN Services or the Site and immediately delete all Applications from your User Devices.

Amendments of Policy

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter this Policy at any time. You can find the most recent version of this Policy atinfo@hrn.io. Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof on the Site. Therefore, we encourage you to check the date of this Policy whenever you access or use an Application, the HRN Services or the Site to check if this Policy has been updated. You must review this Policy on a regular basis to keep yourself apprised of any changes. If you do not agree to any modifications to this Policy, your sole recourse is to immediately stop all use of all Applications, the HRN Services and the Site. Your continued use of any Application, the HRN Services or the Site following the posting of any modifications to this Policy will constitute your acceptance of the revised Policy. Should you have any questions regarding this Policy, please contact us at the contact information listed at the end of this Policy. Please note that none of our employees or agents has the authority to vary any of our Policies.
